Glatt Ingenieurtechnik honored as an outstanding company with the East German Business Forum Award
On June 14, 2021, the VORSPRUNG business award was presented for the second time
As part of this year’s East German Economic Forum, the OWFZUKUNFT prize was awarded for the second time on June 14, 2021. This prize recognizes the excellent achievements of medium-sized entrepreneurs. Especially in the current corona crisis, which means a considerable test for almost all East German companies, the prize is intended to set an example for a spirit of optimism and innovative entrepreneurship in East Germany.
The jury, headed by Matthias Platzeck, former Minister President of Brandenburg and former head of the Commission “30 Years of Peaceful Revolution and German Unity”, selected five prize winners from a total of 36 nominations.
Marco Wanderwitz, Federal Government Commissioner for the New States, and OWF organizer Frank Nehring presented the prizes in a ceremony.
This year, the business prize ‘VORSPRUNG’ went to the Weimar company Glatt Ingenieurtechnik GmbH, along with 4 other prize winners from other federal states. The Thuringian Minister of Economics, Wolfgang Tiefensee, acted as laudator for the prize winner.
The East German Business Forum – OWF.ZUKUNFT -, founded in 2016, defines itself as the future meeting of the East German economy, as the forum that brings together representatives from business, politics and science.
